As the name conveys, Arlington Highlands carries a dual heritage. The "highlands" refers to a region of Scotland known for its stark beauty and for the stone-hewn character of its people. Highlanders adhere to the ancient values - faith, family, the land, hard work, perserverance, craftsmanship. The North Texas prairie on which Arlington Highland sits may bear little resemblance to the topography of the Scottish Highlands, but Arlington Highlands carries, in every detail of its conception and construction, many of those enduring Highlands values.
Today, Arlington Highlands attracts the region's shoppers providing convenient easy access to a single, extraordinary location to shop, dine, stay and work.

Piranha Killer Sushi took its first bite in Arlington, Texas back in 2001 as owners Kenzo and Tommy saw a void in the city and a great opportunity to show off their talents. By starting Pirahna Killer Sushi, they wanted to give diners the chance to experience sushi with a vibrant twist.
Kenzo and Tommy honed their skills for years while living, learning and working in Florida's colorful and ever-evolving restaurant industry. From this came their own concept. Their goal has been to raise the bar for sushi restaurants as well as to "over-deliver" an addictive & unforgetable dining experience. The pair will continue to spread Piranha Killer Sushi so that everyone can taste what they have to offer.
Piranha Killer Sushi's menu has been the rave ever since the restaurant opened in 2001. The Bohemian Conch Salad and the Forget About It Roll have a different kick than any other sushi restaurant! The picture-perfect presentation of a Dragon Roll with strips of salmon and avacado floating on top with an asparagus tail, plated diagonally, is almost too pretty to eat. Piranha's also pampers the palate of the non-sushi eater with servings of hot Salmon Thai Curry, Korean Grilled Steak and other delectable items.
Guests are greeted with a display of a beautiful traditional Japanese kimono. As soon as your hostess begins guiding you to your seat, you will enter a new world. Our story goes back to the mid 1800s, when millions of Longhorns roamed freely throughout Texas. With the taste of beef becoming a newfound favorite in the North, Texas ranchers prospered as never before.
Each winter the Longhorn were driven to the Texas Gulf Coast to graze on the rich coastal salt grass. And when they headed for market, they followed the legendary Salt Grass Trail, known far and wide for the best beef in the whole Lone Star State.
In 1952, this historic trail ride was revived by four riders to publicize the opening of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Today, the ride has become an annual celebration of that original Texas spirit. The first Saltgrass Steak House still stands along this historic trail.
Saltgrass Steak House recaptures the flavor of the open campfire. Steaks, chicken, and seafood, chargrilled to perfection. Complete with breads, soups and desserts, made from scratch daily.
At Saltgrass, our pledge is simple. Honor the old legends, while makin' a little history of our own.
